Dynamic pile testing is a specialised engineering field, which demands a high skill level in both instrumentation analysis and engineering judgement. The exam provides an independent means by which Clients can assess practitioner's abilities to ensure a consistent and high quality service.
The examination is held at several venues around the world in association with industry seminars and conferences. The two part, multiple choice exams cover the skills and knowledge fundamental to ensuring high quality data acquisition, recording and interpretation, requiring the examinee to understand a wide range of challenging topics such as pile stresses, damage detection, driving system performance, wave mechanics, soil mechanics and capacity evaluation.
