New name, same foundations

The O2, formerly known as the Millenium Dome in Greenwich, South East London opened in June after a £350m conversion. The arena will stage concerts and sporting events following the opening performance from Bon Jovi on Saturday 24th June. The dome was originally constructed by Sir Robert McAlpine in 2000, Stent provided the specialiast foundations for the leisure and entertainment buildings in two visits between December 2005 and October 2006.
