Our roots lie in the Stent Precast Concrete Company established over 70 years ago in 1936.
Our growth has been supported by our parent company Balfour Beatty.
Over time, we’ve strengthened and broadened our portfolio of services through acquisition and investment. In 2007, this culminated in the creation of the Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering group, reflecting our ambition to be the leading player in the ground engineering arena.
We deliver services through our divisions: Stent, Pennine , Branlow, Balfour Beatty GeoEnvironmental and Testal – each a leading ground engineering specialist in its field. Through them, we can provide:
