Balfour Beatty Ground Engineering has two state-of-the-art factories producing Precast piles and beams, along with reinforcement cages. Between the two factories we have the capacity to produce 1.3 million linear metres of Precast pile a year.

The Precast pile sizes produced are:

• 190mm square
• 235mm square
• 275mm square
• 350mm square

Our products conform to strict testing and procedures, they are accredited to the following:

• The manufacturing process is CARES accredited to BS EN 12794
• The manufacturing process is accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2000, BS EN ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007
• The Unijoint is joint class D according to BS EN 12794:2005 + A1:2007 

The factories use 100% recycled water as well as recycled aggregates in the production of the piles. The cages and rebar also offers a sustainable solution as they are produced from recycled steel.
